The Dumfries Mutual Insurance Company was founded in May, 1856 in the Village of Roseville. It is the oldest farm mutual insurance company in Ontario. Is has grown from a company that wrote strictly fire insurance to one that now protects it's insureds against property, liability and automobile losses.
